THANK YOU TIMES A ZILLION!
You made this happen, and we think you're the monkey's tail. (That's a good thing.)
In the 1950s, Moira Harker, wealthy businesswoman, and great-granddaughter of Mina Harker, one-time thrall to Count Dracula, decides there is just too much evil in the world to go about things the normal way. A Nazi group calling itself the Last Reich is running around gathering up every occult item they can scrounge in order to make Hitler's horrible vision a reality.
Surmising that it takes monsters to fight monsters, she assembles the League of Monsters, composed of the infamous Count Dracula himself along with Frankenstein's monster, a reluctant wolfman, a gill creature, and his beautiful telepathic handler, a marine biologist named Dr. Stephanie Gordon. Together, they travel the world facing a wide variety of occult threats. There's even a mummy or two for good measure.
So if you want to see versions of your favorite classic monsters team up to battle Nazis and all manner of occult threats, back League of Monsters today!

Our dear friend yukidogzombie has been working on this incredible art piece for weeks, and now it's ready to show to you!
Behold…all seventeen monkeys cleaning the apartment!
We love this whimsical take on the events of the story, don't you?
This adorably fun art piece will be unlocked as a FREE coloring page when we hit 75 backers on this campaign!
And, when we cross the $2K funding threshold, we'll unlock it as a FREE full color art print!
In both cases, everyone will get FREE digital versions of the art, and those at physical pledge levels will get print copies in the mail with their other rewards.
Jayels 17 Monkeys!
We're nearly finished with the 17 monkey trading cards that come at with Level 5 pledges and above! (Or as add-ons.)
But before we finalize the stats on each monkey and design the full card, we want to show you Jayel Draco's gorgeous art of every single monkey in the book.
Can you figure out which monkey is which, based on the list of names I gave in yesterday's update?
Can't wait to share the final trading cards with you!
In the meantime, stay cool!
—Lynsey G

Who I Named All the Monkeys After
– Wed, May 24, 2023 at 12:07:01 PM
Hi, Monkey Maids fans!
So, 17 is a lot of monkeys.
But I knew that I wanted each and every one of them to have a distinct character for this story. So, although it took quite a lot of time and energy, I named each monkey—carefully and specifically—after a pop culture icon!
Here's how it breaks down:
Lambert the Golden Lion Tamarin: Named for Lambert the Sheepish Lion, from an old Disney cartoon I watched when I was a kid.
Danny and Sandy the Geoffroy’s Spider Monkeys: Their namesakes are the two main characters in Grease.
Philo the Common Squirrel Monkey: Named after Clint Eastwood's character in AnyWhichWayButLoose.
Clydethe Panamanian White-Faced Capuchin: After Clint Eastwood's pal in AnyWhichWayButLoose—an orangutan named Clyde.
Margethe Pygmy Marmoset: She's named for Large Marge from Pee-Wee'sBigAdventure!
Francis the Titi Monkey: And he's named for Francis from Pee-Wee'sBigAdventure!
Paulie the Rhesus Macaque: His namesake is Rocky's trainer in the Rocky films.
Adrian the Night Monkey: Named after Adrian, Rocky's girlfriend and then wife in the Rocky films.
Lydia the Night Monkey: Named for Lydia Deetz from Beetlejuice.
Bert and Erniethe White-Tufted Marmosets, aka Common Marmoset: Pretty obviously, these two are named for the Muppet roommates from SesameStreet.
Tina the Bonnet Macaque: She's the only one named after a real-world person instead of a fictional character—Tina Turner. (Only because "Auntie Entity" from Thunderdome was too cumbersome.)
Thelmaand Louisethe Talapoin Monkeys: Named after the titular characters from Thelma&Louise, of course!
RickytheDiana Monkey Guenon: His namesake is Ricky from ILoveLucy.
LucytheVervet Monkey: After Lucille Ball, aka ILoveLucy.
That's it, folks! I can't wait to tell you more about all the monkeys, but I'll wait until the trading cards are finished so I can show them at the same time!
The long-awaited origin story of Fearless Dawn is finally told! This is a great jumping on point for any comic book fans who are not familiar with this funny, sexy, stumbling super-heroine.
Learn how the awkward Prissy Jones got her super-powers and how she creates her own costume of moose elks, action gloves and whoop-ass utility belt. The high octane series also features other colorful characters such as Brownhole Jones in Zombie Island Party, and Jungle Chick and the Dinosaur.
